“What Would You Do?” – A Smol Boss Assembly Sharing

hey smolsquad, i was invited to speak during school assembly for Primary 1 to 3 students. i was sooo nervous but also excited, even though this was my second time presenting my Smol Boss journey! i started talking slowly and carefully, but as i saw their curious faces, i spoke up louder and more confidently.

i told them about how it all began. when i was a little kid, just five, i saw some migrant workers sitting under the hot sun and wanted to do something kind for them. so, with my family’s help, i set up a little lemonade stall just for them.

that day, i learned my first big lesson:
1. sincerity matters. you’re never too young to make a real difference if your heart is in the right place.

over time, i realised i couldn’t do everything alone. So i asked my friends to join me. we planned many events while laughing and having fun! whether it was planning a craft booth or sorting donated items, we worked as a team.

2. teamwork makes giving back more fun and meaningful! people are happy to support you when you ask for help sincerely

3. and the third thing i shared was this: find something you love and use it to help others. i really love crafting, and that became my way of raising funds and spreading joy. when I’m doing something really like, i naturally give it my best.

when you serve with passion, your sincerity shines through. it becomes something joyful, not a chore.

to end my talk, i showed them this post: Soft Toy Adoption for Nursing Home Residents. it’s one of the projects that happened because i noticed something smol could make a big difference

then i asked the students:

if you see an opportunity like this, what would you do?

using sincerity, teamwork, and passion—how would you serve?

anyone can be a Smol Boss. all you need is the heart to start.
