Mini Sundae Cup for Charity Sales

One of my favourite things to do is DIY crafting—cutting, sticking, painting, and creating all sorts of cool things. So, when I heard about the charity sales organised by the Singapore Homeschool Community, I was so excited! It wasn’t just about crafting this time; it was about crafting for a cause.

Here’s what happened: kids like me came together to make beautiful crafts to raise money for kids who need extra help. All the money we earned went to support the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS).

My brother and I decided to set up a mini sundae booth, and it was so much fun! People could come to our booth and order their own “sundae” by picking a “flavour” and “toppings.” But these weren’t real sundaes—they were sundae keychains we made by hand!

My brother was in charge of sales and taking orders. He’s amazing at talking to people and getting business. My job was to create the sundae keychains based on what each customer ordered. We made over 40 sundaes in just 2 hours—we couldn’t believe how popular they were!

I learned so much from this experience. I learned that even if you’re small, you can make a big difference. I also learned that working together as a community is super powerful.

If you ever get the chance to join something like this, do it! It’s not just fun—it’s meaningful. Plus, seeing people smile when they buy your craft is the best feeling ever.
